Tuesday bumps
Last week is over...yes! Made it through the business fair. I think we represented well. I know I made some good contacts for the clinic which is kind of funny cause I know that the owner and the OM just sat there looking like stumps. *LOL* Out booth was next to the local Tai Kwan Do booth and I had fun talking to the lady who runs and owns it. She was running a contest for 3 months free and I thought what the heck. She called the other day, I won the 1 month free part...so second place! YAY!!! I never win contest like that.
I'm still sick but slowly getting over it. Still congested and have a cough but not as bad. Finally gave in and got some antibiotics and they seem to be helping.
I have tons of paperwork to go through tonight and I'm trying to put it off as long as possible. I let things pile up while I was working on stuff for the business fair. Blah! I did get a gift certificate from my boss's for the auction for $200 for all of my hard work!!!!!!!!! I was so surprised...I would have rather had the money or something...I really want an iPod for some reason. Want one, don't need one though. The gift certificate is for the auction and I'm sure there will be stuff that I will want.
Been reading about LJ and all of its changes. I was thinking the other day that it would be a horrible thing if those people on my friends list started to leave or post somewhere else. It used to be that I kept up with everyone and everything through the mailing lists for different fanfic groups. Then I was introduced to LJ and was able to find a lot of the authors that I liked to read and that is where the majority of my flist came from. Over the time I have found people that have similar interests and have friended them and so forth. I know some people are already talking about moving their whole journals and I thought that was very sad. I'm considering doing the thing on the 21st in protest....
